Hello! I am a historian of postwar Germany with particular interests in the contexts of decolonization and the global Cold War. I have recently completed my dissertation “Dear Comrade Mugabe: Decolonization and Radical Protest in Divided Germany, 1960-1980” at the University of Michigan. During the academic year of 2019-2020, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies at the Free University in Berlin. In the past, my work has attracted funding from the German Academic Exchange Service, the Central European History Society, and has been generously supported by the Rackham School of Graduate Studies, the International Institute, and the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia at the University of Michigan.

Get in touch, especially if you’re in Berlin!
